Why Work with a Kitchen & Bath Designer?
NKBA
Award
Winner!
When you're frustrated by a lack of counter space, or maybe a room's flow
that just doesn't feel right, you need to go beyond a cabinet swap.
A well-designed kitchen or bath is much more than a facelift.
It's about organizing elements, layouts, systems, and solutions that support the activities required in the best way possible, and then applying beautiful materials that make the better-functioning space a pleasure to spend more time in.
About The Designer
I left NYC for the southern coast of Maine nearly 20 years ago and have worked as a designer since the late 80's.  Starting my own design company in 2004, RedMaple Sportswear began with natural fiber apparel & accessories but soon evolved into a lifestyle brand with the addition of RedMaple Collection - exploring gifts, home furnishings, & decor.

With degrees in Fashion, Textiles, Art, and Design, I most recently completed a certificate program in Kitchen & Bath Design from Century College after deciding that 20+ years of various residential design & remodeling projects I'd been doing on the side could be yet another evolutionary step for my studio.  And so RedMaple Home Design was born.

I've since gone on to pass additional NKBA exams for specialized study in the areas of Floorplans & Specifications, Universal Design, and Remodeling.

My goal is to bring high quality living space design to homeowners who share my passion for natural materials and historical character.  We'll blend this with a contemporary aesthetic inspired by the outdoors to make your home safer, more functional, and more universally appealing.
I became an officially certified Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) in 2021, and was awarded 1st Place - Bath Design in NKBA's 2022 National Student Design Competition at the completion of my final semester of coursework and internship.
