Living Spaces Designed For Real Life
Designers are not just for the rich & famous
A Kitchen & Bath Designer is a specialist who helps you:
  • Maximize functional & safe use of residential spaces.
  • Achieve a look & plan that fits your wants, needs, and budget, both now and for the future.
  • Accurately communicates plans to builders, plumbers, & electricians through specialized technical drawings that meet industry standards.
You can benefit from my services if you:
  • Are building or remodeling & need a full design concept & material selection
  • Already have a plan but want a Kitchen & Bath Specialist to review
  • Have picked your materials for DIY but would like guidance on room layout
  • Are a contractor with ideas who needs professional CAD drawings for clients
  • Are on a budget and want to avoid costly mistakes through smarter planning
Why Work with a Kitchen & Bath Designer?
When you're frustrated by a lack of counter space, or maybe a room's flow
that just doesn't feel right, you need to go beyond a cabinet swap.
A well-designed kitchen or bath is much more than a facelift.
It's about organizing elements, layouts, systems, and solutions that support the activities required in the best way possible, and then applying beautiful materials that make the better-functioning space a pleasure to spend more time in.
About The Designer
I've worked as a designer since the late 80's, leaving NYC for the southern coast of Maine over 20 years ago.  Starting my own design company in 2004, RedMaple Sportswear began with natural fiber apparel & accessories but soon evolved into a lifestyle brand with the addition of RedMaple Collection - exploring gifts, home furnishings, & decor.

RedMaple Home Design came next, after deciding that 20+ years of various residential design & remodeling projects I'd been doing on the side could be yet another service for my studio.  Completing certification programs in Kitchen & Bath Design and Aging In Place added to my degrees in Fashion, Textiles, Art, and Design.

Recipient of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) award for 1st Place - Bath Design in their National Student Design Competition at the completion of my final semester of coursework & internship.

I've also gone on to pass additional NKBA exams for specialized study in the areas of Floorplans & Specifications, Universal Design, and Remodeling.

My goal is to bring high quality living space design to homeowners who share my passion for natural materials and historical character.  Together, we'll transform your home with a contemporary aesthetic inspired by the outdoors, to make it safer, more functional, and more universally appealing.
